Students

The student and staff community at Drama Studio London is a family, with all the encouragement, friendship and competition this means. Through their commitment and hard work most students find work within weeks of graduation.

Drama Studio London students come from many different backgrounds. Most have had several years of further education, or the equivalent work and life experience. We value the contributions to our training from a diversity of cultures and experiences.

Students range in age from their early twenties to their fifties, sometimes above. There are over 100 enrolled at the school during the year. Each class and rehearsal group normally has about 12 students, varying according to the nature of the class or the play being rehearsed.

The courses are exhilarating and hard work. Although they may trigger considerable soul-searching, our attendance rate is extremely high and the drop-out rate exceptionally low by further and higher education standards. Students tend to form very close friendships, becoming part of a mutual support network that lasts far beyond graduation.
