Michael Billington Theatre Club

DSL hosts the Michael Billington Theatre Club, a theatre appreciation group, designed by esteemed theatre critic Michael Billington.

Pre COVID-19, members met on the third Friday of every month to discuss a series of plays that they had previously attended. Each discussion was be led by highly experienced industry professionals including Michael Billington, the Director of DSL; Emma Lucia Hands and Opera and Theatre Director, Christopher Luscombe

  • Glass. Bluebeard. Kill. Imp by Caryl Churchill at the Royal Court
  • Vassa by Maxim Gorky at the Almeida
  • Touching the Void, based on Joe Simpson’s best-selling memoir, at The Duke of York Theatre
